Linda Corbin-Grubbs Obituary
AGE: 65 • New Brunswick
Linda Joyce Corbin-Grubbs of New Brunswick departed this life on Monday May 18th at St. Peter's University Hospital, she was 65 years old. She was born on October 22, 1949 in New Brunswick at Middlesex Hospital. Linda was a longtime residence of Somerset and Plainfield before moving back to New Brunswick.
Linda was educated in the New Brunswick school system and worked as a Nurses-Aide with the NJ Department of Health Services and was also so employed by Chanel for many years. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Rayfield and Lucille Corbin; her husband Ernest Grubbs in 2012; six brothers and 2 sisters. Live to cherish her memories are her sons, Darnell (Sandra) of New Brunswick, Joseph of North Brunswick, Donald of Somerset and Samuel Taylor of North Carolina; her sisters, Lucille Drayton of Tennessee, Vera Pool of Oregon & Rachel Corbin of Washington; 15 grandchildren, 1 great grand, numerous nieces and nephew, her God-Sister Gloria Sanders of MD. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday May 26th at Antioch Christian Church, 28 Oliver Street, New Brunswick.
Viewing is from 10:00am, until time of service, at church. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick.

To the family: I grew up in Franklin Township N.J. Linda was my best friend until the 5th or 6th grade. She moved away and we reconnected
when we were both in
our early 20's. It was like
we never missed a
step.after a year or so we lost contact until maybe
a year ago we found each other on face book.Again it was like were never away from one another. Althoug I moved to Philly I was
moving back next month
to Trenton and had plans to reunite with my ole'friend, God decided she needed to sleep in
heavenly peace. I will miss her but I am so
glad I had the chance to know her. May all your
fond memories of days past embrace you in the
future. Rest in sweet Peace my dear Linda!
