Thomas Treanor Obituary
Hillsborough
Thomas Dennis Treanor of Hillsborough, NJ died January 4, 2016 at RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was born in Manhattan on Feb 3, 1943, the son of Helen Elizabeth and George Joseph Treanor. He grew up in Kingsbridge in the Bronx, NY, and was for more than a dozen years a member of the Society of Jesus. He was a high school mathematics teacher and later a computer programmer at att. He enjoyed music, tennis, and contra and English dancing. He is survived by his sister Mary, by many cousins, and by numerous friends among all of whom he delighted to live.
In lieu of flowers, two of Tom's favorite charities are Heifer International and The Natural Resources Defense Council. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:30am on Saturday, January 9 at St Joseph Church, 34 Yorktown Road, Hillsborough, NJ; there will be visitation at the Church preceding the Mass beginning at 10am. There will be visitation also on Friday night, January 8 from 6 to 8pm, at The Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 Route 206, in Hillsborough. Hillsborough Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I'm just grateful that both Tom and Mary truly graced my table whenever Mary came to visit Tom. He was/is a quiet man with a great sense of humor and presence. Surely, his welcome in heaven was a great celebration! May Tom know the fullness of life in Christ
