AGE: 96 • Somerset

Ann Manfre, 96, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Manfre was born in Perth Amboy to the late Jozsef and Maria (Orosz) Agni and had previously lived in Highland Park and Somerset before recently moving to Jacksonville.

Ann was employed as a program manager in the insurance department of Perth Amboy General Hospital for twenty-eight years before retiring in 1972.

She was a member of the St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church in New Brunswick.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Carmelo "Carl" Manfre in 2005, her brother Julius Agni, her two sisters; Gizella Chaney and Mary Mosca and her niece Maria (Mosca) Cordery.

Ann is survived by her niece, Barbara Lombardi of Jackson; her nephew, Robert Cordery of Monroe, CT; her goddaughter, Loretta J. Lombard of St. Augustine, FL and her great nieces and great nephews; Eric Martone of Chesire, CT, Mark Cordery and Jennifer Cordery both of Danbury, CT, Renee (Lombardi) Murphy of Morristown and Gina (Lombardi) Romano of Indio, CA.

Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Visitation hours will be held Sunday from 2-4 pm
