Belva Mae Deal, 83, of Glenwood, passed away at Pleasant Valley Hospital on September 13, 2013. She was born June 5, 1930, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Ernest Adkins and Retha Wray Adkins. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Moore's Chapel Church in Ashton.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Gilbert Adkins, Melvin Adkins, and sisters, Thelma Adkins, Lydia Hughes, Clara Mayes, Opal Deal, Violet Murphy and Marie Sturgeon.
She is survived by two sons, Charlie (Kim) Deal of Glenwood and Bobby G. Deal of Glenwood; two daughters, Joyce Ann (Richard) Robinson of Pliny and Rita Deal (Trish) of Huntington. Also surviving are sister-in-law Juanita Adkins of Delaware, Ohio, and sister Helen Jean (Jimmy) Potts of Orient, Ohio; and grandchildren, Melissa Deal, Robert Deal, Christopher Deal, Steven Mayes (Lisa), Annie Robinson (Tommy Scarberry), Sherry (Dion) Stover, Casie Deal, Brian Deal, Justin Deal, Cameron Deal; and three great-grandchildren Charles Mayes, Angelica Brumfield, Elygh Deal, Jaylynn Deal, and Joy Anna Kensler.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013, at 1 p.m., at the Moore's Chapel Church in Ashton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, on Sunday evening, September 15, from 5-8 p.m.
