MASON, W.Va. — Charles Dallas Yeager, 86, of Mason, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, W.Va., on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, with his family by his side.
He was the son of the late Dallas Robert Yeager and Rhoda Orilla Yeager. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lavera Yeager, grandson Craig Yeager and sister Ida Diehl.
He is survived by his daughter Sally (Ralph) Ross, of Mason, and Marty (Susan) Yeager of Mason; grandson Shawn (Cheryl) Ross, of Point Pleasant; granddaughters Amy (Tom) Cremeans, of Pomeroy, Erin (Aaron) Smith, of Gardner Kan., and Haley (Ben) Fauligi, of Blacklick, Ohio; grandsons Heath Yeager (Caiti Edwards), of Gallipolis, Steve (Candi) Tracy, of Pomeroy, and Jeff (Amber) Tracy, of Pomeroy; nine great grandchildren; and six nieces.
He retired from AEP Sporn Plant as a maintenance superintendent of 38 years.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Mason United Methodist Church in Mason. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at the Mason United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Edin of Mason United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Foglesong-Roush Funeral Home in Mason. Burial will be at Graham Cemetery in New Haven, W.Va. In lieu of flowers, donate to the building fund for the Mason United Methodist Church.
