GALLIPOLIS FERRY — Frances Marie Loomis-Collins, 81, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.

She was born March 22, 1936, in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter of the late William Sherman Logan and Mary Ann (Johnson) Logan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer A. "Jack" Loomis and Clifford Collins; two sisters, Shirley Patterson and Peggy Likens; and one brother, Worthy Logan.

Marie was a homemaker and retired custodian with 26 years service from the Mason County Board of Education.

She is survived by a daughter, Anna Mae (Kenny) Simpkins of Gallipolis Ferry; two sons, Joey (Jan) Loomis of Gallipolis Ferry and Roy (Robin) Loomis of Southside; one sister, Emma (Johnny) Long of Point Pleasant; and three brothers, Clarence Logan, Gilbert Logan and Robert (Jenny) Logan all of Gallipolis Ferry. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Joseph Paul (Jenni) Loomis, Kayla (Donnie) Blair, Travis (Cassie) Simpkins, Adam Loomis, Cody (Ashley) Simpkins and Shane (Leticia) Loomis; and five great grandchildren, Katie, Macie, Bryar, Raelynn and Bryce.

A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Jack McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
