Gevetta Boles, 82, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 27, 2013. She was born February 15, 1931 in Mason County, a daughter to the late John Smith and Stella Fridley Smith. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Bud Smith, and two sisters, Ruth Wolke and Wilma Bennett.
She is survived by three sons, John (Edna) Boles of Ohio, Lee (Kim) Boles of Point Pleasant, and Daniel (Tammy) Boles of Vermont, and daughter Mary Pearson of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are one granddaughter, Shirley Pearson Riffle; seven grandsons, Michael Pearson, Jamie, Jeff, and Jeremy Boles, Johnny Boles, and Michael and Christopher Boles; sister, Jenetta Bowers and her children, Barry and Dinah; great-grandchildren, Breonna Nichole Pearson, Julia Boles, Sydney Boles, Tylor Boles, Anthony Boles, Jackson Boles, Marley Riffle, AJ Riffle, Raven Boles, and Moira Boles.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at 1 p.m., at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Bill Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Flatrock.
