RACINE, Ohio — Donald Earl Roush, 75, of Racine, passed away peacefully at home Monday, Feb. 10, 2014. He was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Minersville, Ohio.

Mr. Roush was a U.S. Army veteran, serving his country during the Vietnam War, and was a member of American Legion Post 39. He was co-owner of P.D.K. Construction Co.

Don is survived by his wife, Jo Ellen Follrod Roush, whom he married Feb. 12, 1964; his son Darin J. (Becky) Roush, of Racine; his brothers Robert (Sarah) Roush and Jackie Miller, of Alexandria, Va.; brother-in-law Jack Duffy, of Racine; special caregivers Denise Holman, Lynda Adkins and Julie Curtis; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Icy Roush Miller, and his sister, Jeanette Duffy.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, where military funeral honors will be presented by the American Legion Post 39. Visiting hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at the funeral home in Pomeroy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Don Roush to the Meigs County Meals On Wheels Program or to American Legion Post 39.
