GALLIPOLIS FERRY — Collette D. (Kaki) Campbell, 57, of Gallipolis Ferry, went to be with her heavenly father, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born May 30, 1957, in Mason County, a daughter of the late Chester Simpkins & Betty Price Simpkins of Gallipolis Ferry. She was employed by the Mason County Board of Education. She was a member and secretary at Millstone Church in Apple Grove.

She is survived by her loving husband Marlin "Jack" Campbell of Gallipolis Ferry; amazing step-daughters, Marlena and the late (Jona) Burris of Gallipolis Ferry, Valerie (Mike) Rodgers of Point Pleasant, Ginger Campbell of New Haven, and several grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters: Ledvada (Mike) McCallister, Dreama (Melvin) Hill, and Teresa (Mike) Potts, and brother Paul (Darlene) Simpkins, all of Gallipolis Ferry, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at noon with Rev. Charlie Dabney and Rev. Charles McCallister officiating. Burial will follow in the Apple Grove Memorial Gardens in Apple Grove. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Friday, June 20, from 6-8 p.m. Online condolences can be made at
