Harry Eugene Cole, 92, of Sebring, FL, went to be with the Lord August 12, 2013. A son of the late Harry A. and Mary Bates Cole, he was born in Bloomington, IL and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard serving during WWII.

He married Joan Balmer in Cleveland, Ohio on February 8, 1946. He was former pastor for 26 years at G.A.R. Churches and then served 12 years on staff of Cedarville College. He was the first pastor of Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville, Ohio, moving to Maranatha Village, Sebring, Fl in 1988. He was a former associate pastor and a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and associate pastor at First Baptist Church Gallipolis.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joan; sons, Kenneth E. Cole, MD, Ft. Wayne, IN and David B. Cole, Pickerington, OH; daughter, Judith Ann Disch, Tulsa, OK; and eight grandchildren.

Military Honors, 12:30 p.m., Friday at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday at Maranatha Baptist Church, Sebring with Pastor Gerald Webber officiating. Memorials are requested to A.B.W.E. or Maranatha Manor.
