GALLIPOLIS — Vivian K. Moore, 87, of Gallipolis, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014, at the home of her son, Rick.
Vivian was born July 6, 1926, in Gallia County, the daughter of the late Eura E. and Verba A. Saunders Wallace. She had been a saleswoman with Paul Davies Jewelers. She also worked as a school cook for the Gallipolis City Schools and worked at Project Hope pre-school. She was a member of Chapel Hill Church of Christ. She enjoyed doing crafts such as ceramics, crocheting and painting. She enjoyed animals and raised poodles and Pekingese dogs.
Vivian was married to Ona Lee Moore on Oct. 19, 1946. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1989. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Delma King and Audrey Mullins; three brothers, Russell, Oral and Dillard Wallace; a grandson Seldon Michael Moore; and an infant granddaughter Michelle Marie Moore.
Vivian is survived by three sons, Michael (Barbara) Moore, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Stephen Moore, of Columbus, and Rick (Debbie) Moore, of Gallipolis; one daughter, Susan (Tim) Caldwell, of Crown City; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild due later; a sister, Thelma Puckett, of Mercerville; and a special friend, Luther Hall.
