WILKES-BARRE — Ann Marie Stook, 68, of Wilkes-Barre, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, at her home.
Born July 2, 1950, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Drobenak Stook.
Ann was a lifelong resident of Wilkes-Barre and was a graduate of GAR Memorial High School. She attended Luzerne County Community College.
Throughout her life, she held various service jobs and would volunteer in the community. She was an active member of Forty Fort United Methodist Church.
She was most recently preceded in death by her lifelong partner, Robert LaBarre; brother Joseph; and sister Lorraine.
Surviving is her brother, Frank and his wife, Karen, of Illinois; sister Gloria Dalessandro and her husband, Gabe, of Wilkes-Barre; son Anthony Hando and grandson A.J., of Duryea; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend Dr. Michael Stine will be officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of services Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Forty Fort United Methodist Church, 26 Yeager Ave., Kingston, PA 18704; or the Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place, Suite 200, Landover, MD 20785.

Many fond memories of Ann Marie when we were younger. She always gave to everyone. My prayers go out to her family and friends.
