Phillip T. James Jr., 36, of Noxen, passed Monday, Feb. 26, 2013, as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Stull Road, Noxen.
Mr. James was born in Kingston on Feb. 25, 1977 and was the son of Phillip T. James Sr., with whom he resided, and Geri Lee Barrish Page of Kingston. Phillip graduated from West Side Vocational-Technical School in 1995. He was employed as a press operator at Offset Paperback in Dallas for the last 15 years. He loved to hunt, fish and catch rattlesnakes. Mr. James is survived by a stepmother, Leota Patton of Noxen; sister, Jennifer James, of Lubbock, Texas; stepbrothers, George Deiter and Tommy Patton, both of Noxen; stepsisters, Elizabeth Page, of Kingston, Robin Weber, of Noxen, and Michelle Slempa, of Dallas; nephews.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 8 p.m. at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. Linda S. Bryan, of the Noxen United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be made to Clear Brook Manor, 1100 E.
