Barber, Eleanor Jane - Pittsfield  
Eleanor Jane Barber, 94, of Pittsfield, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Liberty Village in Pittsfield. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the First Christian Church in Pittsfield. Visitation will be held 9:30-11 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment will be at the Pittsfield West Cemetery. The Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield has been entrusted with the service.

Fraser, Larry James* - White Hall  
Larry James Fraser, 74, of White Hall, passed away Friday evening, Dec. 19, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born July 30, 1940, in White Hall the son of James and Theresa Lusse Fraser. He married Gloria Hicks on July 8, 1962, in Roodhouse, and she survives. He is also survived by three sons, Kevin (wife, Michelle) Fraser of Eldred, Michael (wife, Rachel) Fraser of Carrollton, and Scott (wife, Senda) Fraser of White Hall; nine grandchildren, Drake Allen Fraser, Chris Fraser, Braidden Fraser, Alexis Fraser, Ashley Spencer, Nathan Boulch, Elizabeth Boulch, Sarah Boulch, and Braden Adams; three great-grandchildren, Sadie Fraser, Brynlee Fraser and Jordan Fraser; two sisters, Joyce (husband, Ed) Baker of White Hall and Cara Sue (husband, Rob) Crain of Manchester; one brother, Bill (wife, Patrice) Fraser of Carlinville; and several nieces and nephews. Larry retired from White House Manufacturing in White Hall after many years of service. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their events. He enjoyed golfing and will be remembered for his kindness to everyone. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall with burial at White Hall Cemetery. The family will meet friends 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Fraser Family. Condolences may be left online at airsman-hires.com.

Hankins, Paul Wayne* - Jacksonville  
Paul Wayne Hankins, 79, of Jacksonville, passed away Sept. 17, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ella; two brothers, Glenn and Wilbur; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held at Beardstown City Cemetery in Beardstown. Williamson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Clyde A. Harris, 77, of Eastside Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Pittsfield, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at Eastside Health Care. There will be no visitation or services. The Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Pembrook, William D.* - Greenfield  
On Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, the Lord took his saint, William D. Pembrook, home to Heaven. He was born Nov. 29, 1926, to Willard and Ola Jane (Rhodes) Pembrook. He married Sarah Lou Holiday March 22, 1953, at the Christian Church in Palmyra, and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters: Debbie (Richard) Albrecht of Greenfield and Nancy (Ron Smith) Pembrook of Roodhouse; two sons: Richard (Sheryl) of Naperville and John of Greenfield; nine grandchildren: Eric (Stephanie) Albrecht, Shelley (Dave) Scott, Tony (Wendi) Albrecht, Kyle Pembrook, Eric Pembrook, Christina Pembrook, Emily Pembrook, Joshua (Amy) Pembrook, and Jeanette (B.T.) Norman; and 10 great-grandchildren, with one due January of 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Kathryn Pembrook and June Kessey; one brother: Harold Pembrook; and a daughter-in-law: Lori Pembrook. William D. farmed most of his life retiring in 1994. He served as trustee and supervisor of Rubicon Township for over 25 years, was a member of the Rubicon Flying club, Greenfield Horseshoe League and the Greenfield First Baptist Church where he taught the high school Sunday School class. He also drove a mail truck and school bus. He served his country in the Army, stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Upon returning home, he graduated from aviation school in Jacksonville. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Greenfield First Baptist Church where funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at the Oak Wood Cemetery with military rites provided by Legion Fitzsimmon's Post 225. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church Blacktop Fund, Blessing Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association. The Shields-Bishop Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ricks, Rachel E. (Husted)* - Indianapolis  
Rachel E. Ricks, 92, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Jacksonville, died Dec. 19, 2014, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. She was born April 28, 1922, in Roodhouse, the daughter of Lee and Ethel Thompson Husted. She married William B. Ricks on June 5, 1949, in Jacksonville, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2013. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy L. Ricks of Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Ann E. Leitze (husband, Harold) of Indianapolis; two grandsons, Jason M. Leitze of Fishers, Indiana, and Jeremy M. Leitze of Avon, Indiana; two great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Lee Husted and Richard Husted; and a son, Jack E. Ricks. Mrs. Ricks graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1940 and from Passavant School of Nursing. She spent the majority of her nursing career as an instructor in the Passavant School of Nursing. She was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville with burial at Diamond Grove Cemetery in Jacksonville. The family will meet friends at the funeral home 3-5 p.m. Monday. Memorial gifts are suggested to Passavant Area Hospital Foundation for nursing scholarships or Grace United Methodist Church for the children's choir program. June K. Fox, 68, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at her residence. She was born June 9, 1946, in Beardstown, the daughter of Richard and Jessie Mae Stambaugh. She married David Fox on June 2, 1973, in Jacksonville, and he survives. She is also survived by three sons, Danny (wife, Linda) Kessinger of Texas, David (wife, Cheryl) Kessinger of Jacksonville and Davey (fiance', Stephanie) Fox of White Hall; one daughter, Pam (husband, Michael) Benz of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren, Haile, Olivia, Cohen and Tate Fox and Jenna, Jake and Josh Kessinger; one brother, Richard Stambaugh of Texas; four sisters, Mary Buster and Betty Smock both of Jacksonville, Norma Deatherage of Springfield and Judy Stambaugh of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister in infancy. Mrs. Fox was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had attended Faith Tabernacle Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Co Co, and enjoyed shopping. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Jacksonville East Cemetery. She was born Nov. 24, 1951, in Chicago, the daughter of Hugh Graham and Christine Elizabeth Lindsey Robinette. She is survived by her mother, Christine Bowman of Jacksonville; two daughters, Jennifer (husband, Nathan) Perot of Aimwell, Louisiana, and Lisa Deal of Forsythe, Missouri; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy (husband, Tim) Barr of Albertville, Alabama, and Jeannine (husband, Chad) Eilers of Omaha, Nebraska. Her father preceded her in death. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Yatesville Cemetery near Prentice. There will be no visitation.
