Patsy Ann Bell, 71, of Virginia, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born April 13, 1940, in Cass County, the daughter of Harry and Marie Wright Turner. She married William V. "Buddy" Bell on March 9, 1957, in New London, Mo., and he preceded her in death March 28, 2008.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Henry (husband, Greg) of Petersburg; two sons, Bill Bell (wife, Vickie) of Virginia and Mike Bell of Virginia; six grandchildren, Luke and Lacie Bell of Virginia, Devin Bell of Palmyra, Ben Bell (wife, Cara) of Virginia, Duran Rademaker (wife, Mackenzie) of Petersburg and Dusty Rademaker (wife, Stacey) of Petersburg; six great grandchildren, Bree Dougherty, Coyt Rademaker, Chelsea Bell, Matthew Bell, David Bell and Christian McNealy; a brother, Robert Turner (wife, Mary) of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Turner and in infancy, Myron Turner.
Mrs. Bell was a graduate of Virginia High School and was employed at Hertzberg-New Method Book Bindery in South Jacksonville. She later owned and operated Pat's Dream Cream in Jacksonville for 33 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Virginia and the Virginia Lioness Club. She was also a sales representative for Sarah Coventry Jewelry for over 15 years.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Virginia, with burial at the Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. Sunday until the time of services. Memorial gifts are suggested to Grace Lutheran Church or Walker Nursing Home Resident Activity Fund.
