To the family of Wallace N. Jamison - my deepest sympathy to each one of you who had the good fortune to know, admire, and to love him. As a fellow Presbyterian, I enjoyed knowing him at First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, and as Interim President of Illinois College from 2002-2003, I viewed him as one of the giants associated with this wonderful liberal arts College. Jacksonville is so fortunate that Illinois College appointed him Dean of the College and Professor of History, because he gave vibrant leadership to every entity with which he was engaged. Thank you, Wally, for all your gifts to all of us who knew and greatly admired you.
