Mary Louise Hill passed away peacefully at home in Smyrna, Ga., on Jan. 21, 2014.
She is survived by her husband, Chris; their beautiful daughter, Kristina; five grandsons; niece Teresa Lashmett; great-nieces Taylor and Tristan; and sisters-in-law Deborah Hill and Laura Womersley.
Mary was born in Jacksonville, Ill., and graduated from the University of Florida in Jacksonville, Fla., with a master's degree in accounting. In 1991, Mary became disabled with muscular dystrophy. Despite her disability, she remained active in the church, dedicated herself to reading and writing, and greatly enjoyed the wildlife around her home.

Memorial services will be held 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the Jonquil Chapel of Castellaw Funeral Home in Smyrna, Ga., with Pastor Tamlyn Collins officiating.
