Robert "Bob" Russell Davis, 75, of Jacksonville, passed away at 7:35 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Liberty Village in Pittsfield.
Robert was born Nov. 14, 1937, in Centralia, the son of the late Margaret and Russell Davis.
He is survived by Karen, his beloved wife of 29 years; two daughters, Teri Smith of Mount Vernon and Lisa Davis of Centralia; two sons, Mark Davis (companion, Angie) of Centralia and Steve Davis (wife, Mishala) of Denver; two stepdaughters, Kari Farrell (husband, Brian) of Jacksonville and Kandi Jockisch (husband, Ted) of St. Louis; eight grandchildren, Gavin Davis, Blaide Davis, Ridge Davis, Raquel Davis, Joshua Farrell, Jacob Farrell, Olivia Jockisch and Laurel Jockisch; a brother, Richard Davis (wife, Doris) of Centralia; and a sister, Judy Kirkland of Indianapolis.
Robert served in the United State Navy and retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad after 42 years as an engineer. Karen and Robert enjoyed spending time at their Lake of the Ozarks home. He loved boating, water skiing, swimming and both buying and looking at cars. Robert will be missed by all who were privileged to know him.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Pastor Tim Mitchell officiating. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
