Alice Mae Wilson, 82, of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Heritage Health in Jacksonville.
She was born March 27, 1930, in Morgan County, the daughter of James Sterling "Cap" and Bertha Swan White. She married Elza Ray Wilson on Jan. 14, 1949, in Jacksonville, and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2011.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Wilson (companion, Joyce Jackson) and Steve (wife, Pam) Wilson, both of Jacksonville; three daughters, Donna Wilson and Connie (husband, John) DeGroot, both of Jacksonville and Patti (husband, Randy) Chesnut of West Valley City, Utah; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Wilcox and Mary Evans, both of Jacksonville.
Mrs. Wilson had been employed at Perma Bound Book Bindery in Jacksonville for over 30 years. She was a member of Liter Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jacksonville East Cemetery. Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the PAWS. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
