Carolyn M. Elliott, 75, of Greenfield, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born Oct. 23, 1935, in Hillview, to Norman and Marie (King) McClenning.
Surviving are six children, Pat (Jim) Garner, Chris (Alma) Elliott, Cheryl Snyder, Marilyn (Marvin) Bailey, Cliff Elliott, all of Greenfield, and Mike (Doris) Elliott of Chesterfield; three brothers, Lewis (Eva) McClenning of White Hall, Lee McClenning of Winchester and Wayne (Joyce) King of Jacksonville; and one sister, Kay (Dean) Daniel of White Hall. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold McClenning; three sisters, Alberta McGee, Jean Schofield and Darlene McClenning; and one son, William Elliott.
Carolyn was employed at Park's Locker Service and the former Westside Food and Beverage for several years.
Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield. No funeral service is scheduled and burial will be private. Memorials may be given to the family.
