Francis "Butch" Baker, 48, of Pinckneyville, and formerly of Greenfield, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, in Pinckneyville.
He was born Dec. 31, 1959, in Jerseyville, a son of Francis and Virginia Willis Baker.
He was a 1979 graduate of Greenfield High School and a self-employed contractor.
He is survived by two brothers, Kirby Baker of Jerseyville and Roger Baker of Woodson; three sisters, Pat Baker of Oklahoma, Becky (husband, James) Gleason of Florida and Nancy Baker of Carlinville; two children, Ryan and Trista Baker of White Hall; two stepchildren, Fred Davidson of Roodhouse and Misty Davidson of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Paris and Delaney Baker, Allie and Ariel Davidson and Madison Fanning; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda.
There will be no visitation and funeral services will be private. Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of arrangements.
