Gary N. Fisher, 67, of White Hall, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Sept. 21, 1945, in Belltown, the son of George and Alma Rabe Fisher. He married Mary Hardwick on May 11, 1980, in White Hall, and she survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Denise (husband, Curtis) Guthrie of White Hall, Dawn (husband, Jason) Sonneborn of Palmyra and Debbie Jackson of Roodhouse; a son, Bill Fisher of Texas; eight grandchildren, Tanner and Logan Guthrie, Stormy Sonneborn, Cody Fisher, Joseph, Nicole, Amanda and Brandon Edwards; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Harold Fisher.
He enjoyed running his own bait and tackle shop and working on small engines. Gary loved to watch wrestling, but most of all he loved watching his grandchildren play sports. Gary was a member of the White Hall First Baptist Church and the White Hall Sportsman Club.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall, with burial to follow at White Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Condolence may be left at www.airsman-hires.com.
