Jeffrey Michael Bishop, 39, of Overland, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at his home.
He was born April 27, 1970, to Michael D. and Judy J. (Novinger) Bishop in San Mateo, Calif.
Jeff was graduated from DeSmet Jesuit High School in 1988, received his B.S. from St. Louis University and completed his nursing degree at Barnes Jewish School of Nursing.
He is survived by his parents; a daughter, Natalie Anne Bishop; a brother, Joseph W. (Kelly) Bishop; two nieces, Stella and Evelyn Bishop; his maternal grandmother, Marie Novinger; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold Novinger; his paternal grandparents, Dean and Margaret (Egan) Bishop; and his paternal stepgrandmother, Pearl Bishop.
Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Witt Cemetery in Rockbridge. Memorial contributions may be given to the Natalie Bishop Scholarship Fund in care of the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home, 604 Walnut Street, Greenfield, IL 62044.
