Jeremey Lee McClure, 35, of Beardstown, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born Feb. 18, 1977, in Rushville, the son of Ronald Lee ""Jay"" and Mary Loretta Anderson McClure.
Surviving is his partner, Tad Huskey of Beardstown; mother, Mary (husband, Tom) Hammel of Springfield; father, Ronald ""Jay"" (wife, Barbara) McClure of Beardstown; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Anderson of Beardstown; paternal grandparents, Dottie (husband, Gary) Kindhart of Browning and Ronald L. Sr. (wife, Linda) McClure of Beardstown; one sister, Jennifer (husband, Mike) Hall of Springfield; and one nephew, Kahne Hall of Springfield.
Jeremey graduated from the Beardstown High School in the Class of 1996, was member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Beardstown, was a past employee of Cargill Meat Solution and later self-employed. He loved sporty automobiles, cooking, vacationing (especially in Florida), music, the Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Burial will be at Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials have been suggested to the Jeremey McClure Memorial Fund.
