Donna S. Keller, 87, of South Jacksonville, passed away early Monday morning, March 31, 2014, at Passavant Area Hospital. She was born Jan. 5, 1927, in Muncie, Ind., the daughter of Daniel Hardin and Alma Marie Milhollin Storer. She married Peter Keller in 1948 in Muncie, Ind., and he preceded her in death in 1992.
She is survived by her children, Kathryn Keller (husband, Dennis Reynolds) of Glen Ellyn, Janis (husband, Tom) Hill of Jacksonville, Michael (wife, Cathy) Keller of Battefeld, Mo., and Stephen (wife, Kimbal) Keller of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Joseph Keller, Brandon Keller, Meghan Eakin and Michelle Keller; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Joanne (husband, Harold) Parker of Tucson, Ariz., and Carol Salian of Muncie, Ind., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Christine Ann Keller; one brother, Harold Storer (surviving wife, Wanda of Eaton, Ind.) one sister, Jean Bush.
Mrs. Keller taught school for many years at Glen Ellyn School District 41 in the grade school and as a science teacher in middle school. She enjoyed reading, sewing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Elm Ridge Memorial Park in Muncie, Ind. Memorials are suggested to the Jacksonville Public Library or the Jacksonville Senior Center.
