Connie Doolin, 89, of Baltimore, and formerly of Jacksonville, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Towson, Md.
She was born July 26, 1921, in Baltimore County, Md., the daughter of Orlando and Jenny Lind Smith Pond. She married Joseph Leo Doolin on Jan. 26, 1976, in Maryland, and he preceded her in death Oct. 23, 2004.
Mrs. Doolin is survived by two daughters, Mary Vale Fulcher Gill of Albuquerque, N.M., and Naomi Shirley Fulcher (husband, Bill) Randolph of Baltimore; one son, John C. (wife, Verna) Fulcher of Seven Valleys, Pa.; and two stepdaughters, Vicki Cavey and Carolyn Sutch, both of Maryland; numerous grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, James E. L Fulcher (surviving wife, Mary of Rockville, Md.); one sister, Berniece Oler; and one brother, Clarence E. Pond.
Mrs. Doolin had worked as a clerk at the University of Maryland Hospital prior to retirement. She was a member of the Church of Our Saviour. She loved children, young people, animals and flowers.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Church of Our Saviour in Jacksonville, with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Jacksonville. Family will meet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are suggested to the
