Carol B. Milleson, 75, of Murrayville, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born Dec. 20, 1937, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Harold W. and Bernadine Oxley McDevitt. She married Carl W. Milleson on June 28, 1959, in the Durbin Church near Franklin. He survives in Murrayville.
Also surviving are two sons, Kevin S. (wife, Rhonda) Milleson of Lebanon, Tenn., and Christopher D. Milleson of Murrayville; and two grandchildren, Aaron and Kyla Milleson.
Carol graduated from Western Illinois University in 1959 with a degree in home economics. She was a member of the Murrayville United Methodist Church and a former teacher at Our Redeemer Day Care in Jacksonville. In 1961, both Carol and her father were conducted into the Morgan County 4-H Hall of Fame. She loved canning and camping.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Murrayville United Methodist Church, with interment at the Murrayville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Murrayville United Methodist Church or the Murrayville-Woodson EAS.
