Veronica Valenzuela

Funeral Mass for Veronica Mae Valenzuela, 45, formerly of Plainview, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary service will be recited at 6 p.m. today at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Valenzuela died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas. She was born Nov. 30, 1966, in Plainview to John E. Valenzuela Jr. and Mary L. Tijerina Valenzuela. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1985 and married Enrique Hernandez on Oct. 31, 1985. They lived in Germany, Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee. She worked in hotel hospitality, and at the time of her death worked in Duncanville where she lived since 2002. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church when she lived in Plainview. Survivors include her mother, Mary L. Aguilar of Plainview; her father, John Valenzuela Jr. of San Angelo; her children, Julie M. Hernandez, Errin J. Hernandez and Eonn L. Hernandez, all of Duncanville, and Enrique Hernandez Jr. of San Antonio; her grandson and companion, Eliel J. <0x201C>E.J.<0x201D> Hernandez of Duncanville; a brother, John Valenzuela III of Plainview; a sister, Susan M.
