Memorial services for Bill Rankin "B.B." Brown, 56, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 in the First Baptist Church Chapel with Dick Burnett officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Bill passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 in Plainview.
Bill and his twin brother Mike were born and adopted by Virgil and Dorothy Asher Brown on Sept. 5, 1956 in Denton County and were brought back to Plainview by Virgil and Dorothy on Sept. 11, 1956 to a very excited and happy group of family and friends. Bill was an incredible pilot and was happiest when anywhere near airplanes. Bill was a member and past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge in Plainview and also a long-time member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Shawn Brown and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother
In keeping with Bill's memory, we ask that those in attendance to come dressed in their favorite, very casual attire.
