Bobbie Renfro Bobbie Renfro, 73, of Kress, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, at Swisher Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in Kress with Rev. O.K. Neal, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Kress Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Renfro was born Feb. 11, 1933, at Standfield Ranch near Henrietta to Clyde and Willie Mae Rains. Her family moved from Henrietta to the Plains and the Bellview community in the 1940s. She attended schools in Plainview and Kress. Mrs. Renfro was a beautician and owned her own shop in Kress. She enjoyed all sports. Her many talents were reflected in the home she made with John; her love of gardening and handwork were evident all around. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmie Vineyard. She married John Renfro in June 1982 in Kress. Survivors include her husband, John Renfro of Kress; children, Mike and Sherry Vineyard of Lubbock, Buddy and Wanda Vineyard of Kress, Sherry and Keith Duncan of Albuquerque, N.M., Mike Renfro of Austin, Sherry Zink of Colorado and Donna Buck of Lubbock; three brothers, Paul and Louise Rains of Midland, Elmore and Elaine Rains of Amarillo and Nolan Rains of Austin; one sister, Nell and Randy Campbell of Kress; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
