Barbara "Bobbie" Ellen Randolph, 83, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at the Rensselaer Care Center.
Barbara was born in Morocco, Ind. on Sept. 7, 1930, the daughter of the late Bernard and Anna (Hickman) Lane. She was educated at the Morocco Schools. Barbara married Elton Randolph, in Rensselaer on July 26, 1972.
Barbara worked at Per-Pak for 18 years and then retired. She attended the First Baptist Church in Rensselaer, and was a member of the Moose Lodge, the VFW
, also the Knights of Columbus. Bobbie also liked to listen to Elvis Presley and enjoyed cooking.
Surviving Barbara is her loving son, Dennis (Gail) Northcutt of Rensselaer; three step-children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bernice "Toots" Fontaine of Winsor, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elton Randolph; three brothers; one sister; and one step-daughter, Sherry Dawson.
Friends may call Thursday, Dec. 26, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer. Burial will follow at Fair Oaks Cemetery in Fair Oaks.
