Teresa Rae Epler, 62, of Lafayette passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
Teresa was born April 26, 1950, in Rensselaer to the late Wayne R. and Margery R. Hamer Epler.
She graduated from Rensselaer High School in 1968. She then studied to become a medical laboratory technologist, board certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She worked at Purdue University Student Hospital for eight years then retired from Eli Lilly and Company after 20 years.
Teresa attended First Christian Church. She loved family and friends, antiquing, tending her flower gardens, cooking, The Beatles and her 1956 Thunderbird. She was a 4-H leader for the Southside Clovers in Tippecanoe County for many years.
Surviving is a daughter, Lindsey Kemper (husband Brian) of Lafayette; a brother, Daniel Epler (wife Carol) of Monticello; and a granddaughter, Adeline Rae Kemper.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Epler.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 8, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, with a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., in Lafayette with Rev. Greg Eberhard officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Rensselaer.
