Ronald G. Miller, 64, of Rensselaer passed away at his home on Monday, March 17, 2014.

Ron was born in Rensselaer on May 20, 1949, the son of the late Dorothy (Chupp) Miller and John Miller. He was a lifetime resident, also having lived in Arizona for seven years.
Ron graduated from Rensselaer High School with the Class of 1967. A welder and farmer, he was a 25-year employee at B&C Machine Shop in Rensselaer. He was a member of the Rensselaer Retired Iron Club, collected antiques and enjoyed attending auctions. He was a member of the Burr Oak Mennonite Church in Rensselaer.
Ron was previously married in Arizona to Cecila Woodmansee.
Surviving is his loving family: son, Mark (Kim) Castaldo of Fair Oaks; daughters, Heather (Geoff) Cannon of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Eva (Rick) Flanagan of Bakersfield, Calif.; and eight grandchildren, Alexis and Sarah Castaldo, Kaleb, Noah and Ella Cannon and Kyle, Neella and Alana Flanagan. Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a sister, Celina Diane "Missy" Miller.
Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer on Friday, March 21, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Jackson Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 22, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Debbie Voss officiating. Burial will follow at Burr Oak Cemetery in Rensselaer.
Memorials may be made to the Burr Oak Mennonite Church.
