Lois E. Kellner, 90, of Rensselaer passed away at her residence Tuesday, April 15, 2014.

Lois was born in Jasper County on August 7, 1923, the daughter of Rachael Belle (Medkifff) Warne and Albert Warne. She was a lifetime resident and a 1941 graduate of Fair Oaks High School.
Lois was married in 1942, to John F. "Cooney" Kellner Jr., in Parr, Ind. Her husband preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 2006.
Lois was a farm wife, helping her husband "Cooney" on the family farm. She enjoyed cooking and going fishing. Lois was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her loving sons, Jack (Mattie) Kellner of Rensselaer and Ron (Nancy) Kellner of Fair Oaks; six grandchildren, Tammy (Craig) Putt, John Kellner, David (Crystal) Kellner, Heather (Shane) Box, Heidi (Robert) Neeley and Aaron (Kelli) Kellner; two step-grandchildren, Sharon (Steve) Smith and Sandra Parks; 11 great-grandchildren, Delaney Putt, Braedyn Putt, Macie Kellner, Ryan Kellner, Mason Kellner, Tyler Clapp, Matthew Hennin, Erin Hennin, Shane Box Jr., Hayden Box and Megan Kellner; four step-great grandchildren, Jeremy Williamson, Caressa Williamson, Cynthia Parks and Austin Parks; and seven step-great-great grandchildren, Blake Williamson, Jared Williamson, Sammie Williamson, Gavin Williamson, Cadence Keene, Logan Jacoby and Addyson Parks.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, "Cooney;" one grandson, Christopher Kellner; five brothers; and three sisters.
The family will receive friends at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer on Friday, April 18, from 2 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Jackson Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 19, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor David Mueller officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rensselaer.
Memorials may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church.
