Harry J. Altman, Jr. Surfside Beach Harry James "Jamie" Altman, Jr. age 41, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Born in Florence, SC, he was a son of Linda Cribb and Harry J. Altman, Sr. Mr. Altman was an A/V Technician and Sunday School Superintendent with Surfside United Methodist Church. He was past president of the Men's Club and was active with the youth ministries. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting. Mr. Altman was a devoted father and was always involved in his children's activities. He was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and Coastal Carolina University. Mr. Altman worked in outside sales for Builders First Source. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Homer Altman and maternal grandparents, Oliver and Oneida Cribb. Surviving in addition to his parents are his children, Haley Morgan Altman and Harry J. Altman "Trae", III; a brother, Justin Altman and his wife Elizabeth; a niece, Addison Elizabeth Altman; a grandmother, Beth Altman; an aunt, Sara Jo Cribb, and very special friend, Darla Willm. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Surfside United Methodist Church with Dr. Scott Wachter officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2015 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to: Surfside United Methodist Church Youth and Children's ministries, 800 13th Ave. N., Surfside Beach, SC 29575. Ashley, Michelle  
Michelle "Shelly" Marie Ashley Little River Michelle "Shelly" Marie Ashley, age 45, of Little River, passed Tuesday February 17, 2015. Ms. Ashley was born in Kingston, New York. She was a daughter of the late Raymond Marshall and surviving mother, Linda Ashley. She worked as a care-giver for many years. Michelle's hobbies included dining out, coordinating family gatherings and most importantly taking care of her children. Surviving are her four children; Two Daughters, Victoria Ashley & Santana Ashley; Two Sons, David Bach & Maximiliano Rodriguez Jr., children of Maximiliano Rodriguez Sr; Two sisters, Kimberly Ashley and Lauralee Ashley; One brother, Yon Marshall; Three nieces Kayla Ashley, Sierra King and Alexis Mack; One nephew, Christopher Ashley; Two grand children, Jace Bach and Jameson Wentling; Close friends of the family Walter Mack and Melissa Mariziego along with many others. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2015 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach chapel, Rev. Margie Bellamy officiating.
