Anna K. Bazar August 18, 1922 Surfside Beach Anna K. Bazar, 92, died on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown, SC. She is survived by: one son, Nicholas Bazar and wife, Jacqueline of Bay Harbor Islands, FL; one daughter, Joanne Haelen and husband, Robert of New Baltimore, NY; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, and Victoria; two sister-in-laws; and eleven nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with a prayer service at 5:30 PM. Graveside service will be held in Troy, NY at a later date. McMillan-Small Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. An online guest book is available at www.msfh.net

Bender, Mark S. - Little River  
Mark S. Bender October 21, 1944 - March 18, 2015 Little River Mark Stephen Bender, 70, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 21, 1944 in Dover, PA, he was the son of the late Edward A. and Leola J. Brubaker Bender. Mr. Bender was a licensed boat captain. He was a boater and fisherman at heart, but he loved his work in the real estate industry. He was a real estate broker and appraiser for many years before retirement. Mr. Bender was very active in outdoor interests, which included working with his camera and traveling. He loved playing cards and from time to time enjoyed wood carving and making crafts of glass. He and his wife, Flo-Ann, completed the American Great Loop Cruise on their own boat and received the Baccalooperate Degree. He was a member of Risen Christ Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 186, Seacoast Anglers Association, North Strand Power and Sail Squadron, and Marine Trawler Owners Association. Mr. Bender is survived by his son, Todd A. Bender; step daughters, Launa M. Staub, Stephanie A. Silvey; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Flo-Ann Bender. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, March 30 at Risen Christ Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 29119, Phoenix, AZ 85038-9119 or the local charity of one's choice. A guestbook is available at www.leefhandcrematory.com . Thomas Bush Murrells Inlet Thomas Bush age 90, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at his residence. Born in Roanoke, VA, he was a son of the late George Reese and Nannie Mae Hundley Bush. Mr. Bush was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Therese Bush and a daughter, Rebecca Ann Bush. Survivors include a son, Thomas Bush, Jr. of Murrells Inlet; a daughter, Monica Ogle of Willis, VA and son in law, Timothy H. Ogle; grandchildren, Kathleen A. (Charles) Tankersley of Check, VA, Christine (Brian) Hundley of Murrells Inlet, Thomas Francis Bush, III of Burgess, SC; step-grandchildren, Timothy Woodward Jr. and Brandon Woodward; great-grandchildren, Audrey and Jack Hundley; A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM until 12 noon Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
