Timothy Loyd Larrimore November 19, 1964 - November 17, 2014 Conway Timothy Loyd Larrimore, 49, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 19, 1964 in Horry County, a son of Christine Hardee Larrimore and the late Loyd Odell Larrimore. Timothy loved serving his Savior and spreading the gospel. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and was always willing to help others. Timothy will be remembered for being a loving husband, son, brother and friend. In addition to his mother, Mr. Larrimore is survived by his wife, Linda Godwin Larrimore; two sisters, Donna Todd (Willie) and Dessie Coates both of Conway and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Tommy Hardee and Rev. D. J. Boyd officiating. MacDonald, Allan J.  
Allan J. MacDonald Pawleys Island Allan J. McDonald, age 71, died on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Waccamaw Hospital. Born April 18, 1943 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada to the late Mildred M. MacDonald who was born on Panmure Island, PEI, and George J. MacDonald born in Charlottetown. Upon graduation from high school, Allan entered the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement in Garrison, New York. He later graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Arts; a Masters of Arts from the University of Dayton; and a Doctor of Philosophy from Walden University. Allan leaves to mourn his loving wife, Barbara, his beloved son, Christopher, devoted daughter-in-law, Lisa, and faithful brother, Gerry. He is also mourned by many family members and friends. Peace came to Allan and his wife as members of St. Michael Catholic Church. His burial in the Columbarium will be private. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Church in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, St. Christopher's Inn at 1350 Route 9, PO Box 300, Garrison, NY 10524-0301, 845-424-3671. McDorman, James P.  
James P. McDorman Surfside Beach James P. McDorman, age 81, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at his residence in Surfside Beach. Born in Winding Gulf, WV, he was the son of the late Corliss and Norma McDorman. A Korean War Veteran, Mr. McDorman served in the US Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Wasp. Following his military service in the Navy he graduated from Marshall University. Mr. McDorman then joined the US Air Force retiring with the rank of Captain after a combined 25 years of service. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Beulah Gobble and Joan Morton. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Mary V. McDorman; sons, James (Teresa) McDorman, Jr., NC; Robert McDorman, Surfside Beach; grandchildren, Kristin (Logan) Steele, AZ; Britainy (Trey) McDorman, NC; great grandson, Collin Andrew Steele; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Monday, November 17, 2014 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM following the service. James Bedford Neal August 20, 1941 - November 17, 2014 Gaffney, SC James (Jim) Neal Gaffney, SC - - James Bedford Neal, 73, of 334 Frye Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 17, 2014 at his residence. Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of the late Debra McCaskill Neal and son of the late Oliver Perry Neal and Evelyn Moore White, and stepson of the late Roscoe White. Mr. Neal was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the U. S. Army and UPS/Freight. He loved motorcycles especially Harley Davidson, loved the beach, loved his family, especially his late wife, and was a member of New Harvest Church of God. Surviving is a daughter, Summer Neal of the home; a stepdaughter, Heather Dahlstrom and husband, Ben, of Kenosha, WI; a half brother, Rodney White and wife, Ronda, of Gaffney; five grandchildren, Mason Hensley, Bryce Dahlstrom, Rosalie Dahlstrom, Gavin Dahlstrom and Violet Dahlstrom. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Ruth Neal and a son, Preston Neal. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Wells and Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. Oliver, Michael Vernon - Asheville  
Michael Vernon Oliver July 13, 1956 - November 12, 2014 Asheville, NC Michael Vernon Oliver, 58, of Asheville, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Mission Hospital. Born and raised in Conway, SC, he was a son of the late George Alton Oliver and Helen Goldfinch Oliver. Mr. Oliver attended Conway schools, and graduated from the Carolina School of Broadcasting in Charlotte, NC. He worked as a radio DJ and announcer in Conway and the Horry County area, as well as in the Tabor City, NC area. Mr. Oliver is survived by siblings, Caroline Oliver Hester, George Alton Oliver, Jr., Anna Beth Oliver Doig, and Patrick Arthur Oliver; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children of Greenville, SC, www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org . Groce Funeral Home of Asheville, NC is assisting the family.
