Pamela C. Edmondson Murrells Inlet Pamela Cook Edmondson, age 68, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Conway Medical Center. Born in Lake City, SC, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Alva Cook. She loved playing tennis and volunteered at Friendship Medical Clinic. Pamela was loved by many and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Edmondson, Jr. Survivors include her sons, Edward W. "Tripp" Edmondson, III (Beverly) of Garden City and Brian Cook Edmondson of Garden City; granddaughter, Ava Grace Edmondson; brother, Michael Cook; nephew, Benji (Michelle); and great nephews, Raleigh and Ramsey Cook. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Garden City Chapel with entombment following at Hillcrest Mausoleum. Fincher, Thomas  
Thomas Ray Fincher April 22, 1950 - June 21, 2016 Myrtle Beach Thomas Ray Fincher, 66, husband of Janet Plyler Fincher, died June 21, 2016 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1950 in Charlotte, NC the son of the late Joe Neil and Carol Sue Garrison Fincher. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jaymi Lane Fincher. Survivors including his wife are: one daughter, Jessica Fincher of Myrtle Beach, SC; and a granddaughter, Jossie Fincher. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Socastee United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Kellogg, Frederick  
Frederick F. Kellogg, Jr. Little River, SC May 31, 1928 - June 22, 2016 Frederick Fuller Kellogg, Jr. of 7 Park Avenue in New York, NY and Mariners' Pointe Yacht Club in Little River, SC passed away on June 22, 2016 at the age of 88. He was a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology (1950) and Columbia University (1954). He was a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida. He was a member of the Princeton Club, Circumnavigators Club, Travelers' Century Club, Kane Lodge No 454, Mensa, and Intertel. He was a member of the Mayflower Society, Society of Colonial Wars, Society of Colonial Governors (National President 2009-2011), Sons of the American Revolution, Order of Founders and Patriots, St. Nicholas Society, Huguenot Society, and the National Gavel Society. Kellogg served as Chief Engineer for the Village of Larchmont, NY for over two decades where he pioneered recycling programs was administrative head of several departments. He also ran a part-time civil engineering consulting profession. He was active in sports, an avid golfer and member at Westchester Country Club, and in his youth won several championships in track and field as well as the 1946 Westchester county diving championship. Kellogg is survived by his sister, Dr. Joan Renz, by his sons Freddie and David, and by his grandchildren Alexander, Stephanie, Jennifer, and Brian. A brief memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 26 at the McMillan-Small Funeral Home at 910 67th Ave North in Myrtle Beach. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, followed by a brief service conducted by officials of Trinity Church.

Kellar Eugene Lee October 1, 1950 - June 22, 2016 Shallotte, NC Kellar Eugene Lee, age 65, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Mr. Lee was born in Dillon, SC, a son of the late Kellar and Maggie Ruth Brown Lee. He was a member of Old Shallotte Baptist Church. William Herman Owens December 14, 1931 - June 22, 2016 Myrtle Beach William Herman Owens, 84, died Wednesday June 22, 2016 at his residence. He was born December 14, 1931 in Myrtle Beach, SC, the son of the late Robert McKeever and Mary Alice Outlaw Owens. Mr. Owens was a veteran of the US Navy. He was the founder/Owner of Owens Steel and Machine Works, Inc. Survivors include: one son, Mike Owens and wife, Jackie of Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter, Jan Owens of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren, Brandon Mishoe, Andrea Jollie, Joanna Babbitt, and Michael Owens; four great-grandchildren, Preston and William Mishoe, Owen and Madilynn Babbitt. White, Enid - Winston-Salem  
Enid Petteway White August 21, 1928-June 21, 2016 Winston-Salem Enid Petteway White, 87, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Arbor Acres in Winston-Salem surrounded by family. A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 11 am in the Petteway Family Cemetery near Jacksonville, NC by the Rev. Robert C. Wilkes. Enid was born August 21, 1928 to the late Frank Ray and Lillie Hewitt Petteway of Jacksonville, NC. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1945 and then attended East Carolina Teacher's College in Greenville, NC where she graduated with honors in 1949. Enid pursued her career as a teacher working at Farm Life High School in Vanceboro, NC where she met her husband, Don Franklin White, marrying him in 1951. After she and her family relocated to Greenville in 1964, Enid pursued her passions of gardening and art. Passions she instilled in her children and grandchildren. She loved caring for her many plants and flowers, and even moved some of her plants to her new home in Winston-Salem when she relocated in 2008. She opened the Arlington Hall Art Gallery in Greenville in 1983 to promote local and regional artists as well as local craftsmen. She operated the gallery for 15 years as a labor of love. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Greenville for many years. She was a member of the Vanceboro Woman's Club, the Delphian Book Club, the Dig & Delve Garden Club, and the Service League of Greenville. In addition to her other passions, Enid was a lifelong avid reader and exuded knowledge in a variety of subjects. She set a great example of unselfishness by constantly supporting her children and grandchildren with their pursuits. She also passed on her love for cooking to her family. Enid was preceded in death by her husband, Don Franklin White, her sister, Joan Petteway Ross, her brother Mark Austin Petteway, her step sister, Grace Petteway Holland, step brothers Frank William Petteway and Walter Ray Petteway, and her grandson Gary Lyn Hadwin, Jr. She is survived by three children, Lynn White Hadwin (Gary) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Donna White Willis of Pittsboro, NC, Don Franklin White, Jr. (Kelly) of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jordan (Lee), Jennifer, Chase (Heather), Larkin, Reynolds, Bailey, and Mary Slade. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to her in-home nurses who cared for her for four years, as well as the wonderful staff at the Fitzgerald Center at Arbor Acres. We also wish to thank Hospice of Winston-Salem for their care, support, and guidance throughout her illness. Margaret (Peggy) A. Britt August 10, 1929 - June 19, 2016 Pawleys Island Margaret (Peggy) A. Britt, 86, of The Lakes at Litchfield, Pauley's Island, SC, passed away on June 19, 2016 having lived with Alzheimer's disease for many years. Peggy was born in Northampton, Massachusetts on August 10, 1929, daughter of the late Margaret and Benjamin Cushway. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 57 years, Thomas J. Britt, a brother, William A. Cushway, and a grandson, Brian Cohn. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and dedicated her life to her family. Peggy was an avid reader, cat lover and cribbage master. She and her husband traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally. If something needed fixing, Peggy would take care of it. She knew every Broadway song by heart and you could often hear her singing from outside of the house. Peggy moved to Myrtle Beach, SC from Ridgefield, CT in 1993. While living in Ridgefield, she was active in local singing groups, including The Charles Pope Choristers and The Song Spinners. She was also an active volunteer at the Congregation of Notre Dame in Ridgefield. Surviving are six sons, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild: Thomas G. Britt of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Jennifer Callinan and her son David; Robert D. and his wife, Joan, of South Burlington, VT, and Jessica, Scott and Michaela; James B. Britt and his wife, Marsha, of Neenah, WI, and Anne, Molly and Katherine; William J. Britt of El Cerrito, CA; Mark A. Britt and his wife, Dori, of Old Saybrook, CT, and Michael and Stephen; and Christopher S. Britt of Old Saybrook, CT. Burial will be private.
