Neil Chrisley Obituary
Conway
Neil Chrisley, 82, of Myrtle Green Dr., died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Chrisley was born in Calhoun Falls, son of the late Carnell and Nellie Chrisley. He was a professional Major League baseball player with the Detriot Tigers and an avid golfer and attended Newberry College on a basketball scholarship.
Neil is survived by three sons, Keary of Columbia, SC, Dale and wife Becky of Greenwood, SC, Mark and wife Beth of Port Orange, FL; one daughter Karla Collins and husband Deron of Lakeland, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Graham, Austin, Regan, Zachery, Ryan, Kaylin, Jordan, Carlin, Devin, Mark, Ethan, Mason, Savanna,one great grandchild, Aidyn. Mr. Chrisley is also survived by one very special friend, Willie H. Purvis.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Phillip Miles and Greg Gibbons Officiating.

IN JUNE 1963 AS A 10 YEAR OLD I WENT TO MY FIRST SYRACUSE CHIEFS GAME.NEIL CHRISLEY WAS ONE OF THE PLAYERS I ALWAYS REMEMBERED.IN 77 GAMES PLAYED HE HAD 78 HITS GOOD FOR A 281 BATTING AVERAGE.MY SINCERE SYMPATHIES TO THE CHRISLEY FAMILY.MARTY NAVE
