Earl C. Adams, Jr.

Earl C. Adams, Jr., 92, died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Conway Manor.
Born on June 24, 1921 in East Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late Earl C. and Lillian Robinson Adams, Sr.
Mr. Adams was a U.S. Army Air Corps WW II Veteran. During the 1940's, he was a flight instructor for the Tuskegee Airmen, the country's first black military pilots and was the recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Marie Leibiger Adams; sons, Rod Adams of NC, Roy Adams of AZ; daughter, Tawana Adams of MD; sister, Lorraine Wilkinson of NJ; four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Steven Adams.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 21, in Lee Funeral Home Chapel.
