Athanasia Andriotis 79 passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013.
She was born in Greece on July 29, 1934, a daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Vorris Mouzourakis. Her husband Stratos Andriotis, her daughter, Katherine Marks and son-in-law Giovanni Carandola pre-deceased her.
Athanasia and her husband moved to Myrtle Beach, in 1982, and were the founders and owners of Athens Pizza which is still family owned.
She is survived by her two daughters, Phillis Meryanos and husband Costa, and Georgia Carandola of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Athanasia "Cia" Mann, Theothota Marks, Michael and Katina Economidis, Alki Meryanos Anastasia Liakos, and her brother, Gus Mouzourakis and sister, Erasmia Mouzourakis.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm, Sunday, November 17th at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church with the Trisagion beginning at 6:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 18, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens, North Myrtle Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church Endowment Fund 3301-33rd Ave N. Ext. Myrtle Beach, S.C. 29577.
