Jimmy Bratcher, 72, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Conway Medical Center. He was born March 20, 1941 in Conway SC, a son of the late James Leo Bratcher Sr. and Velma Louise Boyd Bratcher.
Mr. Bratcher was an avid outdoorsman who loved his animals. He was a simple man with a big heart who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, great-grandfather and friend, who will be greatly missed.
Mr. Bratcher is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Alvenia Chestnut Bratcher of the home; one son, James David Bratcher (Renee) of Conway; two daughters, Diane Bratcher and Lisa Ann Bratcher both of Conway; five sisters, Carolyn Bratcher, Phyllis Todd (Joe), Betty McNair (Archie), Hazel Benford (Carl) and Linda Marlowe (Billy Joe); seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who he dearly loved.
