Ruby Pait Wright, 82, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Loris Healthcare. She was the widow of Lynwood Wilson Wright, Sr.
Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Hickman and Mollie Russ Pait.
She is survived by two daughters, Saundra W. Norman (Ben) of Tabor City, N.C., Greta W. (Ronnie) Todd of Loris; two sons, Clay Wright and Woody Wright, both of Leland, N.C.; four Grandchildren, Cristy W. Prince (Joey) of Tabor City, N.C., Tarra W. Best (Randy) of Brunswick, Georgia, Kendra W. Cumulander (Robby) of Chapin, and Paiton T. Harrelson (Brandon) of Goldsboro, N.C.; five great-grandchildren, Anna Beth Prince, Caroline Prince and Austin, Taylor and Macelyn Best; step grandchildren, Brooke Benton (Michael), Stephanie Taylor (Michael), Benjy Norman, Brent Norman (Jamie) and Rat Norman (Kelli); step great grandchildren, Claire and Audrey Benton, Heath Taylor, Kolby and Grayson Norman, Alex and Ashton Norman, Ali Rogers; sisters-in-law, Hilda C. Wright, Sarah L. Wright, Helen G. Wright and Lula Pait; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Tip Spivey; and special caregiver, Sarah Gause. She was predeceased by her siblings, Mary P. Benson, Byron Pait, Ross Pait, Fred Pait and Elmer Pait.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2011 in the Inman Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Russel Long, the Rev. John Hales and Bobbie T. Jones, with burial in the Spivey Cemetery, Tabor City, N.C.
The family will receive friends Friday morning, from 10 until 11 a.m., in the Inman Funeral Home Chapel.

Greta, Saundra & Family,
We are very sorry to hear about Mrs. Ruby's passing. She was truly a christian lady with a very kind heart & warm smile. I hadn't seen her in several years now, but I do remember her personality & kindness was always a part of who she was. I know she will truly be missed by many. May God comfort your hearts & bless your family always.
