Shelvia Causey Grimler, age 75, wife of Jim Grimler of Quiet Avenue died Tuesday, April 2, 2014 at Conway Medical Center following an illness.
Mrs. Grimler was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Ottis P. and Nina Mamie McDowell Causey. She was a member of Pauley Swamp Baptist Church and was a painter.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Conway are: two daughters, Ann Marie Holden and Cynthia Lynn Grimler and husband, Ben Hanson, all of Conway; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Holden, Jenny Holden, and Jasmine Raines Grimler; 1 great grandchild, C.J. Holden; four brothers, Larry Causey and O.J. Causey, both of Longs and Albert Causey of Loris and Jimmy Dale Causey of Conway; and three sisters, Carrie Mae Causey Doyle and Sara Duff, both of Conway and Josephine "Josie" Legge of Kentucky.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Friday.
