Steven George Esakov
On May 9, 2013, Steven George Esakov passed away. Born in Akron, OH, on August 6, 1946, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara L. Esakov, his father, Peter Esakov and mother Elsie Esakov.
He is survived by his three children, Steven (Lexie) Esakov of Southport, NC, Todd (Anna) Esakov of Akron, OH, and Cari Evans of Havana, FL; his beloved grandchildren, Hailey, Chloe, Sophia, Austin and Luke Esakov. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and George Cleland of Melbourne, FL, sister, Marlene Shaffer of Plano, TX; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Steve was a member of the Sea Trail Men's Golf Association and cherished the many special friendships that he and Barb had in the Sea Trail community and throughout their lives. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a respected and loyal businessman who devoted thirty plus years to B.F. Goodrich before retiring. He was a decorated Viet Nam War veteran who proudly served in the US Marine Corps. Steve will be greatly missed by those were blessed to have known him.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in the Chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte, NC. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the , National Center, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231 or in honor of Barb Esakov, , P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
