William "Billy" Wallace Scott III

William (Billy) Wallace Scott, III. , 54, died peacefully at his home on Monday, March 3, 2014.
Billy was born March 9, l959 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania the son of Victoria R. Amato Scott and the late William Wallace Scott, Jr.
The Scott family moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in l964. In his younger years, Billy enjoyed playing both baseball and football with the recreation department leagues. He was a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School and attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
After college Billy moved to California where he learned the trade of brick mason and owned and operated Academy Masonry. In 1993 Billy relocated to Myrtle Beach, where he lived until his death. He enjoyed surf fishing, sea shell and shark tooth hunting and long walks on the beach with his dog, Morgan.
Billy is survived by his mother Vickie Scott of Myrtle Beach, his sister Drusilla Scott Warmath and her husband, Lex of Charlotte, North Carolina.
A service to celebrate Billy's life will be held on Saturday March 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church, Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach officiated by Dr. John C. Brearley. A reception will follow in the Church Fellowship Hall.
