Doris Hyman Lewis
January 7, 1930 - May 5, 2014
Doris Hyman Lewis, age 84, wife of the late William Mack Lewis, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Eddie Bright and Myrtle Barnhill Hyman. She was a member of Juniper Bay Baptist Church and was a nursing assistant at Conway Medical Center for 28 years. Mrs. Lewis was a loving mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judy, a daughter-in-law, Janet, two grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are one son, Billy Lewis, one daughter, Jackie Lewis Hardwick (Mike), two grandchildren, Sandy (Randy) and Kelly (Nate), six great-grandchildren, Randy, Brandon, Olivia, Kaylin, Michael and Megan, two great-great-grandchildren, one brother and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Juniper Bay Baptist Church with Rev. James A. Way and Tommy Hardee officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
