Laura Claire Pinner, 83, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014.
Born October 24, 1930 in Bucksport, SC, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Thomas and Anna Missroon Pinner. She was predeceased by her brother, Vernon Thomas Pinner, Jr. and her niece, Vicki LeMay.
Laura retired from Dargan Construction Company where she worked for 25 years as a bookkeeper. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include two sisters, Cathy Funderburk of Myrtle Beach and Sandra Williams and husband, James of Georgetown, SC; three nieces, Jamie Curry of Georgetown, SC; Melanie Bratcher and husband, Marty of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Mary Anna Lewis and husband, David of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three nephews, Johnny Funderburk of Myrtle Beach; Stephen Funderburk and wife, Christine of Myrtle Beach and Kent Williams of London, England; as well as many great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with Dr. John Brearley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 1306, Myrtle Beach, SC 29578-1306.
