Sue Hash Cooper 68, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June 6, 2014. Sue was born in Kingsport, TN and grew up in Norton, VA, a daughter of the late Eugene W. and Lillian Byrd Hash. Her husband, Jimmy H. Cooper of Myrtle Beach, predeceased her. Sue retired from Leisure Capital Corporation as an account administrator. She was a life member of Sandune Archery Club, National Field Archery Association, S.C. Archery Association, Winyah Archery Club and a former Girl Scout leader. She loved cooking, going to the beach, and music. She is survived by two daughters, Natisha D. LaForce and Lonya R. Sowdon; three grandchildren, Candace Sowdon, Jared Curry and Lily C. Curry; one sister, Alana Hash; three nieces, Vanessa Wharton, Melanie Simmons and Myra Simmons; three great nieces, Taylor Simmons, Kristin Simmons and Marisa Simmons. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Bonita Casselman and Beverly Cooper; and brother-in-law, Johnny Cooper; step-children, Glenn, Melvin and Rebecca. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with Dr. J. Kirk Lawton officiating. Burial following in the Graham Cemetery in the Pine Grove Community. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
