HE WAS KIND AND CARING PERSON. I WAS PROUD TO CALL A FRIEND. RIP ABBOT EDMUND
Donna Nicoll
November 27, 2016
dear abbot will always hold a special place in the Nicoll family history. He was special friends with my Uncle Ben Smith and was always a presence at my Grandmother Smith's coffee clatches with the ladies. He went out of his way to comfort my family when my grandmother died and especially when my dad died even though my dad was not catholic. I will always be grateful that Abbot visited my dad just days before my dad passed and was a comfort to my mom and I. I will also miss the teasing banter he and I always had between us. He will be missed but I am sure he and my mother are now giving God all the teasing He can handle. God Bless Abbot. You are sorely missed.

I am honored that he considered me his friend; he was a great priest!

Father Mc Mc Caffrey was extremely progressive and open minded. He married us many years ago despite several hurdles.i will always remember his kindness. Loved his sermons at St. Michaels church. A great man gone.

Father McCaffrey, you will be remembered always as a kind, intelligent, caring teacher. Your homilies made me feel that you were speaking only to me with a resounding voice. It was my pleasure to have made your acquaintance. Rest In Peace and Love.

A Priest, a teacher, a friend - what a man. He lived all these roles with love, humor, class, and dignity, setting an example for all of us. I looked forward to his classes above all others.

Fr. McCaffrey will be missed. Even at his last mass at St. Michael, he still did not need a microphone to be heard. He was the founding Chaplin for St. Michael Knights of Columbus Council 8980.
I will do as you always asked us to do: "Pray for me as I pray for thee".
Rest in peace with God.

Psalms 118:6, tells us that God is on our side, what could earthling men possibly do to us. How loving to know no matter what we go through God is always with us.
